It’s a centre where a variety of subjects such as literature, science, and history converge with resources like past years’ question papers, question banks from various publishers, encyclopaedias, and numerous other books, providing an abundant source of learning and exploration. The library houses a diverse collection of books, from classic novels and scientific texts to biographies and reference materials. From light-hearted comics to informative magazines, there’s a book to cater to everyone’s taste. These resources serve the dual purpose of educating and entertaining the school community. Additionally, they contribute to broadening the school’s curriculum. Beyond being a repository of books, the library serves as a versatile learning environment. It’s also a collaborative space, where students can work together on group projects, share ideas, and engage in stimulating discussions. Our Librarian plays a crucial role in this setting, guiding students in their research, recommending books based on students’ interests, and fostering a love of reading. She also organizes various programs and activities, including reading challenges, to enrich the students’ learning experience. We are initiating the process of digitizing the library in the near future, which can offer more accessible, flexible and efficient services to the students. It will greatly enhance the value and reach of the library resources.
