For several decades, VVSSPHS has been deeply committed to fostering student growth and empowerment through its comprehensive Academic Support and Remedial Teaching programs. These programs are designed to provide students in grades 8th, 9th, and 10th with the guidance, encouragement, and personalized assistance they need to excel academically and personally. Our approach begins with a thorough identification of each student's needs. This is achieved through detailed performance reviews and assessments that allow us to understand each student's unique challenges and strengths. Students are assigned mentors who are skilled in their respective fields and possess strong interpersonal skills. The mentorship program at our school is not a one-size-fits-all approach. We develop individualized support plans for each mentee, taking into account their unique needs, challenges, and aspirations. The primary aim of these plans is to ensure the success and progress of each student, both in their current academic journey and in their future endeavors. Our mentors play a pivotal role in this process. They regularly monitor the progress of their mentees, providing them with the encouragement they need to keep moving forward. They offer constructive feedback to help students improve, provide emotional support during challenging times, and use positive reinforcement to build academic confidence.
